I have seen the famous badge floating around for some time on the web but never really looked deep into it. With all the other items on my to do list of daily tasks I finally was spurred into action to check it out by none other than the
evil blogger John Chow.

You can read his posting and get involved with a contest from BlueFur hosting as well just for registering and giving them a vote.

I think the concept at Bloggers Choice Awards is great. You get to possibly have your site showcased by your peers online and Bloggers Choice Awards gets to create a large index of blogs out there on the web. Another Web 2.0 unique social networking tool to put under your belt.

You can search to see if someone’s blog has already been nominated and then vote, comment and nominate if they have yet to be entered.
